HOW WE SERVE
MISSION 22
We’re Here for Every Step of the Fight. Service is more than a commitment; it’s the foundation of our mission. Veterans and their families face a war at home that doesn’t make the news: post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, and isolation. At Mission 22, we stand shoulder to shoulder with those who’ve served, offering not just resources but a path forward.
We Don’t Wait. We Walk With Them. Healing doesn’t follow a timeline. That’s why our programs meet Veterans and their families where they are, before the crisis point, in the midst of struggle, and throughout the long road of recovery.
Our Core Values
We believe in putting others before self, just like in service. At Mission 22, our core values are built around sacrifice, accountability, and unwavering support for Veterans and their families. We honor that legacy through real action: providing programs grounded in purpose, leading with integrity, and standing shoulder to shoulder with those who’ve carried the weight of war. We don’t offer shortcuts. We offer the path- and walk it together.
Direct Veteran Support
We provide personalized, no-cost programs designed to meet the mental, emotional, and physical challenges Veterans face: Recovery + Resiliency Program: A comprehensive, science-backed approach to long-term wellness—integrating mindfulness, coaching, and fitness. R+R Coaching: One-on-one, non-clinical health coaching with trained facilitators who walk alongside Veterans to regain clarity and strength. growth and purpose.
Family & Community Resources
Veterans don’t heal alone—and neither should their families. We offer: Tools for military spouses to rebuild identity and resilience. Group-based healing environments that strengthen households. Community-focused events that foster connection and support.
Memorials & National Awareness
With the War at Home Memorial, the Soaring Memorial, and our digital “We Remember” Wall, we honor those lost to suicide, PTS, TBI, and MST—not with silence, but with visibility. These tributes exist to carry their names forward, to remind the world what invisible wounds can take, and to ensure that every life lost is remembered with respect, not forgotten in the noise.
Veterans. Families. Communities. United
Mission 22 serves across the country and beyond. Whether it’s a 48-mile ruck, a challenge fundraiser, or one-on-one coaching, every initiative is designed to meet Veterans where they are—with compassion, accountability, and proven results. A key part of that impact comes from our Ambassador Program—thousands of Veterans, family members, and civilians working locally to connect people to resources, lead conversations, and support healing. Nearly half of our Ambassadors are Veterans themselves, continuing their journey while helping others start theirs.
